JAMMU, Nov 26: Lambasting former Chief Minister and president , National Conference (NC), Dr Farooq Abdullah, Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh today accused him of making mockery of Joint Parliament resolution of 1994 over PoK issue.
Talking to reporters here today on the sidelines of a party programme at BJP Headquarters at Trikuta Nagar, Dr Singh asked the NC leader to restrain from such statements “which are encouraging the secessionist elements in the Kashmir valley.”
He said there is a lot of public resentment against Farooq Abdullah’s statement and people are protesting against it every where.
He said the terrorists are in great desperation and this is the reason that they are indulging in the killing of innocent people. “But the people have lot of anger against those leaders also who with their statements are supporting the secessionists”, he added.
The Deputy CM said the terrorists are in desperation and on run. The killing of Territorial Army (TA) jawan Irfan in Shopian and other policemen showed their desperation, he added.
Dr Singh, however, said that the terrorists have to pay a heavy price for these killings and they have to meet the same fate which other terrorists, who were eliminated by security forces and police, met. Lavishing praises on Army, security forces and police, he said they are bravely fighting terrorism and the anti national elements and soon Kashmir will be freed from their clutches.
