UDHAMPUR, Nov 17: Udhampur Police arrested a drug peddler and seized a large quantity of intoxicants from his possession, here today.
Police party from PS Udhampur intercepted the accused at Lambi Gali, Udhampur and during his personal search, 840 tablets of Rimdol-50 were recovered from his possession.
Police seized the intoxicants and arrested the accused, identified as Surinder Kumar of Lambi Gali, Udhampur. In this connection, a case FIR No. 540/2017 has been registered at P/S Udhampur against the accused person and further investigation of the case is going on for ascertaining involvement of more persons in the racket.
