SAMBA, Sept 23: State president BJP SC Morcha and MLA Samba, Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal today distributed 26 authority letters with an amount of Rs. 25,000 to the beneficiaries under IAY schemes as 2nd and 3rd instalment. He also gave 18 invoices of cattle sheds to the beneficiaries.
Manyal, while speaking on the occasion, said that the Samba Constituency houses a large population of such people who are very poor and identified under BPL category. In these days of price rise these people cannot arrange even two-time meal for their families and manage other minimum needs. None of them can dream of constructing a new house or furnish it with comfortable gadgets.
MLA asked the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the funds distributed among them and pay attention on the material quality. The money will directly be transferred to their account.
Later Manyal launched Swachh Bharat Abhiyan at Bus Stand Purmandal.
Those who were present included BDO Purmandal Deepali Kanna, JE RDD Digvijay Salathia, Naib- Tehsildar Ismail, SHO Sanjeev Kumar, Govind Sharma, Chandar Shaker, Ganga Ram, Hem Ram and locals.
