VIJAYPUR, Sept 22: Former Minister and JKPCC general secretary Manjit Singh today conducted extensive tour of border villages in Ramgarh where Pakistan has targeted civilian areas causing extensive damage to residential houses.
The former Minister interacted with the people who had abandoned their houses and shifted to safer places and assured them all help. On seeing plight of the border firing victims, Manjit Singh said that around 30 residential houses were damaged in Pak shelling and the people had a narrow escape in the intense cross border shelling.
He condemned the Union Government for their failed foreign policy due to which the borders are boiling and innocent people are made scapegoat in Pak shelling. He came down heavily on Modi Government and said that they are unable to deal with Pakistan.
“The Government should resign if they cannot deal with the situation. Prime Minister Narendra Modi should solve the issues with Pakistan once for all or he should deal with the situation by creating international pressure on Pakistan,” said Manjit Singh.
He said that the Government should give five marla piece of land at the safer places to the border residents so that they can live their during the days of hostility.
He appealed the Government to give befitting reply to Pakistan and silence their guns. He said that there should be a comprehensive plan for the border residents in view of present crises.
