JAMMU, Sept 21: Shiv Sena (Bala Sahib Thackeray J&K Unit) today organized the Charri Yatra on the eve of first Navratra in which more than 20,000 pilgrims plus members of Shiv Sena participated.

Charri Yatra was flagged off by MP Chandrakant Khaire, MP Rahul Shewale and Dimpy Kohli State President J&K unit at Maharaja Hari Singh Park and later it proceeded to the holy township of Katra. Besides both the MPs, the gathering was addressed by Chairman SS Avinash Bhatia, Deputy Chairman Rakesh Gupta, Shiv Sena State president Dimpy Kohli, general secretary Manish Sahni, Sanjeev Kohli, Rajan Gupta, Raj Singh, Charri Parmukh, Ramesh Gupta and others.
While addressing the gathering Khaire and Rahul Shewale congratulated everyone on the eve of Navratra and prayed for the prosperity of the country. He said that Bala Sahib Thackeray was a great visionary and preacher of Hindutva.
On the occasion, he also highlighted the failures of BJP-PDP coalition in the J&K State.
Shewale also highlighted the problems being faced by the countrymen due to rising prices of all commodities and failure of State Government in controlling the militant activities.
Later, the Charri Yatra proceeded towards Katra in a procession from Maharaja Hari Singh Park. It passed via Panjtirthi, Vivekanand Chowk, Hari Market, Raghunath Bazar, City Chowk, Purani Mandi, Jain Bazar, Chowk Chabutra, Radio Station then to Katra. Bhandara will also be organized by Shiv Sena for the devotees. Those who were present on the occasion were Radhe Radhe Maharaj, Sanjeev Sharma, Vikas Patel, Vikas Bakshi, Raju Salaria, Nanak Chand, Pawan Singh, Anchal, Shashi Abrol and others.
