JAMMU, Nov 4: The police arrested four gamblers from Nagak Nagar here and recovered the bet money to the tune of Rs 61,450 from their possession.
A police spokesman said that Gandhinagar police party led by PSI Rahul Dogra under the supervision of SDPO, Udhey Bhaskar, conducted a raid in a house at Nanak Nagar today and nabbed four persons for gambling. They were identified as Sunny Mahajan, son of R K Mahajan, Sumit Mahajan, son of Pawan Mahajan, Rajinder Singh, son of Rattan Singh and Vishal Gupta, son of Puran Chand Gupta, all residents of Nanak Nagar, Jammu. The police recovered Rs 61,450 bet money and registered a case against them.
