UDHAMPUR, Aug 20: Protesting against non-availability of Doctors and Medical staff at Primary Health Centre Ghordi, locals held a demonstration in front of the PHC Ghordi.
The protesting villagers raised slogans against the Health Department and threatened violence if no action is taken on their grievance and demand.
The villagers said that due to no treatment because of absence of Doctors and Medical staff in PHC Ghordi, five persons have died in the past few months. Further, they added, there is no ambulance in the PHC while people are fully dependent on this PHC in case of any sickness, fever, etc.
