JAMMU, Aug 4: Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Jammu North, Mohammad Alyas Khan today organized a camp for local business fraternity to about the Goods and Services Tax (GST) regime.
Number of local traders, shopkeepers and other concerned persons attended the camp and raised queries about implementation of the GST, which were replied by the officers present at the camp.
Alyas Khan gave a brief about initiatives taken by the district administration on creating awareness among the trading community about the GST. Many businessmen volunteered to register their business units/firms under GST.
Commercial Taxation Officer Sania Haq Khan and Inspector Amit Jain answered various queries put forth by the traders.
