RAMBAN, July 7: J&K ReT Teachers’ Forum (JKRTF) has warned the Government to streamline the salaries of ReTs and Regularized ReTs working under SSA.
The issue was discussed during the State level meeting of SSA teachers in ID Runyal Conference Hall under the leadership of JKRTF’s State vice president, Bhupinder Singh. The meeting was attended by representatives of Forum from almost all districts of the State.
While addressing the meeting, Bhupinder Singh said that despite several assurances by the State Finance Minister, Dr Haseeb Drabu, nothing was done to redress their issues, thereby forcing the thousands of ReTs and RReTs to come on roads for their salary. He warned the State Government to streamline the salaries of ReTs and RReTs working under SSA, without any delay.
Singh also said that SSA teachers are working under State Government, so it is its responsibility to streamline the salaries of SSA teachers. He also appealed to convert all SSA posts to State Non Plan so that all SSA teachers can get their salaries timely.
Singh also appealed leaders of all ReT Forums to shun their ego and come on a single platform for the welfare of thousands of ReTs across the State.
