While criticizing State Govt for not showing any interest in the implementation of GST, he  said that as per the statement of Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitely  State will have to face with double taxation system which will break the backbone of trading community. He said, that wholesale trading community is also reeling under the shortage of goods and with double taxation State Govt has to suffer with huge loss of Rs 6 to 7 thousand crores. Keeping all this in view trading community has decided to fight with the apathy of State Govt with full strength. He also said that in a meeting held with other Trading organizations it has been decided that in case the State Govt  does not adopt GST they have no other option  but to keep their shutters down till  Govt accept their demands.
They also reminded State Govt to consider their genuine grievances which include the abolition of toll tax on the goods at Lakhanpur. The Trader’s other demands are abolition of imposition of tax on the walnuts and almonds as both of these items are being produced in the State only.
Both of the leaders have also stressed Govts to accept their demands so as to minimize the confusion among the traders.
