JAMMU, June 16: Special Judge Anti-corruption Jammu Sanjeev Gupta today framed corruption charges against Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Kulbir Singh, who was arrested by the Vigilance Organization while demanding and accepting Rs 5000 as bribe in the year 2015.
After hearing both the sides, court observed, “material submitted by Vigilance Organization reveals that there is a ground for presuming that accused has committed offences under Section 5(1) (d) read with Section 5(2) of Jammu and Kashmir Prevention of Corruption Act, 2006”.
Accordingly, court framed corruption charges against the accused.
