DODA, June 15: Police today solved a rape case by arresting the accused.
According to a police spokesman, a teacher has committed rape to a minor girl in the jurisdiction of police station Doda following which a case FIR No 122/2017 under Section 376 was registered by police on June 5.
He said today the absconding accused namely Mohd Ashraf son of Ghulam Mohd Bhatt, resident of Khankoot, tehsil Mohalla, was arrested by a police team led by Inspector Raghubir Singh, SHO, police station Doda, under the supervision of Ifitikar Queshi, Deputy SP, Headquarter Doda and SSP Doda, Mohammad Shabir.
