KISHTWAR, June 2: Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC), vice president and MLA Inderwal, GM Saroori today said that the State has been plunged into `unprecedented crisis’ due to complete failure of the PDP-BJP regime. He emphasized on the need of taking the people of Jammu and Kashmir out of morass and prevailing uncertainty.
Addressing public meetings at Kuchal, Mullar, Kandwar and Chingam area of Chhatroo Sub Division today, Saroori said that situation is Kashmir going from bad to worst and the Central Govt has gone into deep slumber. They seemed to be confused over Kashmir.
Launching a scathing attack on PDP-BJP coalition for prevailing “mess and uncertainty” in the State, Saroori regretted that during the last three years, the present regime has spoiled the peaceful atmosphere which was created by the Congress Government. He said corruption has crossed all limits and the Government, through its “deceit tactics”, has brazenly eroded sanctity and credibility of all democratic institutions.
The Cong MLA further said that prevailing chaos and uncertainty in the State was result of the failure of the present regime to connect itself with the common masses. “From the day one when this Government was formed, there is instability and uncertainty in the State”, he added.
Saroori said that Congress, during its tenure, had proved how to deliver good governance and to establish transparency and accountability in the system. “I don’t want to praise our Government but people of the State now compare our achievements with the three years long “mis-governance” of PDP-BJP regime”, he said and added that Congress had established a system of governance which earned credibility and acceptability of the common masses.
The MLA demanded deployment of adequate staff in Health Centres, streamlining supply of power and water in Kuchal, Mullar, Kandwar Chingam and adjoining localities. This Government, instead of solving problems of people, is resorting to cosmetic acts for camera and displaying flashy and expensive cars to make their presence felt, he said and added the Government is completely missing from the ground.
