SRINAGAR, May 21: Police today said a man was found dead in mysterious circumstances in Leh district.
A police spokesman said police was informed that a body was laying near 81 RCC GREF in Leh district and a police party immediately rushed the spot and recovered the body which was later identified as of Bariyar Hansda.
After completing medico-legal formalities police handed over the body of deceased to his relatives for last rites, he added. “Inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPc have been initiated to ascertain the cause of his death,” the police added.
