Notorious drug peddler arrested

JAMMU, May 21: Bagh-e-Bahu police under ‘Operation Sanjeevani’ arrested a notorious drug peddler.
As per police sources, based on reliable information, a team from Bagh-e-Bahu police station apprehended a notorious drug peddler and recovered 2 grams heroin, 720 intoxicant capsules, 370 intoxicant tablets and 500 grams ganja from his possession.
The accused has been identified as Yash Paul, son of Khushal, a resident of Kacha Talab, Bagh-e-Bahu.
With the arrest of this notorious drug peddler, Bagh-e-Bahu police achieved a major success to save the youth from becoming drug addicts.
A case under FIR Number 53/17 under Section 8/20/21/22 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered against the accused at Bagh-e-Bahu police station and investigation started to ascertain the source of the consignment.
Police team led by SDPO East Arun Jamwal and assisted by SHO Bagh-e-Bahu SI Bimal Indu made the arrest under the supervision of SP South Sandeep Choudhary.
