JAMMU, May 10: President, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Tulsi Dass Langeh today expressed grave concern over the opposition to reservation in jobs to SC, ST and OBC people by certain sections of people thereby ignoring the historical facts behind the same.
In a statement issued here, today Langeh said that the reserved categories of people were suppressed for hundreds of years together with the result they remained socially, educationally, economically and culturally backward.
He said to bring these oppressed and suppressed classes of people at par with other communities for uniform progress of the country reservations is the well thought decision taken by the founding fathers of the Indian Constitution.
