Senior most pensioners of more than 80 years age have altogether been ignored by the concerned authorities.In the 6th Pay Commission report these pensioners were recommended additional quantum of 20 percent,40 percent,60 percent, 80 percent and 100 percent to the aged pensioners of 80,85,90,95 and 100 years respectively but the State Government refused to listen to woes. The Financial Minister once declared in the assembly that the 6th pay commission has been fully implemented for pensioners but upto this date these senior most pensioners were not given their benefits so far. Financial crunch is being pretended for this but crunch is not for MLAs and MLCs whose perks have been increased by 100 percent.The declared assets of these legislators are in lacs and crores but the poor pensioners who get meagre amount even in 3 digits are denied the solace. These pensioners request the Finance Minister to consider their demand sympathetically. It is pertinent to mention here that their party chiefs have promised to allow full recommendation of 6th Pay Commission at the time of election campaign. It is therefore once again requested to consider their demands sympathetically.
