JAMMU, Apr 10: Senior National Conference leader and former minister Ajay Sadhotra has alleged that corruption has been institutionalized by BJP-PDP Govt and the people are suffering and their miseries have been increased manifold by the present dispensation.
Addressing public meeting at Sangrampur in Marh today, the National Conference leader said since BJP-PDP has come to power in the State, the common people are facing lot of difficulties and corruption is touching the sky. No public service work is being done without corruption. PDP-BJP Government has shut eyes as if they have nothing to do with the common masses. The miseries of the common people have increased manifold and people are feeling themselves as helpless.
Sadhotra asked the people to be united to fight the menace of corruption let loose by the anti-people policies of the PDP-BJP Government. He said that Marh Block has become the den of corruption and there is no body to listen to the miseries of the common people and developmental activities are being done on selective basis and people are facing hardships.
He further said that corruption has become order of the day and common people are fed up with this type of functioning of the BJP Government. He said National Conference is committed to fight the menace of corruption. The time has come that people of Marh will wage united fight against corruption, he added.
Others who spoke on the occasion included Master Prem Saini, Capt Om Parkash, Vijay Numberdar, Rakesh Sharma, Ghar Singh, Rattan Lal, Swaran Singh, Prem Singh, Rattan Lal, Swarn Singh, Prem Singh, Madan Lal, Ghasita Ram, Raman Singh, Sub Kasturi Lal, Sat Sharma, Anchal Singh, Lucky. Some youth also joined NC on this occasion.
