Two held for trying to smuggle bovines

DODA, Apr 8: Police today arrested two persons and rescued two bovines from their possession.
On specific information, a police party of police post Bhagwah led by ASI Lekh Raj under the supervision of SHO Doda, Inspector Bishnesh Kumar, Deputy SP, Dar, Nazir Ahmad Ganai and on the direction of SSP Doda, Mohammad Shabir, laid a Naka at Kharhote (Bhagwah) and rescued two bovine animals from the clutches of two smugglers.
The accused who were identified as Talib Hussain son of Ibrahim, resident of Sisarwar (Bhagwah) and Mohd Iqbal son of Mohd Qasim, resident of Panjan Deesa, were arrested on the spot. In this regard, a case FIR No 68/2017 under Section 188 RPC 3PC Act has been registered at police station Doda and further investigation is going on.
