JAMMU, Mar 21: MLA Shangus, Gulzar Ahmed Wani held a meeting with Kashmiri Pandits and discussed various issues faced by the displaced people from Valley.
As per a release, the MLA demanded issuance of ration and sugar besides providing all basic amenities to displaced people living in Jammu.
While discussing plight of unemployed displaced youth he urged the Government to provide job to at least one member of the displaced family. Besides implementation of PM package in letter and spirit, he demanded 1000 class fourth posts be announced for the displaced people with enhancement of relief to Rs 25,000.
The MLA also demanded that proper accommodation be provided to migrant employees serving in the Valley. The meeting was also addressed by Congress Migrant Cell president From Shangus Makhan Lal Kaul and others.
