Srinagar, Dec 27: Police today said a person was killed while three others were injured in different road accidents in Valley.
A police spokesman said an ambulance bearing registration number 84791/JK05E of Tangmarg Hospital hit and injured a person namely Ali Mohammad Wani at Magam area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura here for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries, he said, adding that police have registered a case in this regard.
The spokesman said a Scorpio vehicle bearing registration number JK014A-7000 and a Verna car bearing registration number JK01V-3555 collided with each other near By-Pass Bridge at Chanapora here, resulting in injuries to one person namely Shakeel-ul Rehman. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
The spokesman said an unknown motorcycle hit a minor boy namely Ishan Ahmed Sofi at Behibagh in Kulgam district of South Kashmir. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
He said a tipper bearing registration number JK01A/3482 hit a Maruti car bearing registration number JK09A/2913 collided at Shaloora village of Kralpora at Kupwara district, resulting in injuries to the driver of Maruti car.
“The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Kralpora for treatment where from he was referred to Srinagar hospital for further treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” the spokesman added.
