JAMMU, Nov 25: Eshfaq-ur-Rehman Poswal BJP leader and National Executive Member ST Morcha BJP today met CEO Prasar Bharti, Suresh Chandra Panda at New Delhi and urged for starting Gojri news bulletin from Jammu to cater to the needs of a vast Gujjar population in the State.
Poswal said that in absence of internet and mobile services in remote Gujjar areas the Gojri news bulletin would be of immense significance to Gujjar who are living near line of control in borders areas where Pakistan satellite television channel are accessible.
Poswal demanded to start Gojri news bulletin on Doordarshan Kashmir and Doordarshan Jammu so that the impact of Pakistan television in border areas is nullified.
He also demanded making functional Radio Station Rajouri.
