21 bovines rescued

UDHAMPUR, Nov 24: Police rescued 21 bovine animals, while the accused managed to escape from the spot.
As per police sources, based on reliable information, a team from Udhampur police station laid a naka at Kakhani Chowk and intercepted a Srinagar bound truck bearing registration number JK12A-3085.
During checking, police rescued 21 bovine animals from the vehicle and seized it, while the accused driver managed to escape from the spot.
A case under FIR Number 379/16 has been registered at Udhampur police station and manhunt has been launched to nab the bovine smuggler.
Police team led by SHO Udhampur Inspector OP Chib rescued the bovine animals under the supervision of SSP Udhampur Dr Shalinder Mishra.
