JAMMU, Nov 23: MLA Akhnoor Rajeev Sharma today held an interaction with the people at Rah Salyote of Chowki Choura block and took stock of their problem. In the meeting the people talked about the problems. He also held a public darbar with the people of the area which was attended by officers of various departments. The MLA said such meetings are a routine affair in the Constituency in which people are given complete information about the various schemes of public welfare launched by Government of India.
He informed the gathering about the Government sponsored schemes like Jandhan Yojna, housing for all, Ujjwala Yojna , Beti Bachao Beti Padao etc.
While interacting with people, he said demonetization is a courageous and bold step taken by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and general public is happy with this courageous step.
Sharma assured the people that he will take necessary action to settle the problems faced by the public. The development works in different areas of Constituency will be expedited and added that the present Government believes in action and not the fake assurances. “Our motto is to provide every service at the door steps of the people”, he added.
The MLA also announced Rs 2 lakh from his CDF for development works and Rs one lakh from MGNREGA.
