Two hardcore criminals involved in highway robberies arrested

JAMMU, Nov 22: Miran Sahib police arrested two hardcore criminals, who were involved in highway robberies and had escaped from the custody of police station Ghagwal few months back.
As per police spokesman, on specific information, police nabbed two hardcore criminals, who were involved in a theft case registered under FIR Number 135/16 under Section 341, 323 and 382 RPC with Miran Sahib police station.
The accused have been identified as Lal Hussain alias Lallu, son of Imam Din alias Mian and Bagh Hussain alias Baggu, son of Babu Din, both residents of Laswara.
They were also involved in FIR Number 85/15 under Section 341, 323, 382/34 RPC and FIR Number 67/16 under Section 341, 323 and 392 RPC registered with police station Vijaypur, in FIR Number 56/16 under Section 341, 323 and 382 RPC registered with police station Bari Brahmana and in FIR Number 51/16 under Section 394 and 323/34 RPC and FIR Number 57/16 under Section 223 and 224 RPC registered with police station Ghagwal.
Both the arrested accused along with their one more associate namely Zakir Hussain were also involved in robberies on Jammu-Pathankote National Highway and had escaped from the custody of Ghagwal police station few months back.
Further questioning of the accused is going on to ascertain their involvement in other cases.
Police team led by SHO Miran Sahib Inspector Pawan Kumar made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Kumar and SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal.
