Modi Govt responsible for unprecedented price hike: Mir

REASI, Nov 21: PCC Chief G A Mir lashed out at Modi Govt. for the unprecedented price hike and demonetization without adequate arrangements which has worst affected the poor and labour class of the country.
G A Mir was addressing a one day convention of INTUC at Reasi in which  All India vice president of INTUC and veteran trade union leader R C Khunitia,  was the chief guest  while PCC chief presided over the convention which was attended by senior Congress leaders Jugal Kishore Sharma-MLC, Ch. Aijaz Ahmed Khan Dy Leader CLP and   Rakesh Wazir.
The Convention was organized  under the leadership of  Trade Union Leader Munshi Ram Salalia and attended by a large number of workers and senior activists.
Mir said that poor and working class, especially labour class  are the worst affected due to the policies of Modi Govt..
He said that already the poor and working class are  facing unprecedented price rise  of all commodities of common use like pulses, atta, rice and vegetable and other items, the demonetization has further put them to great sufferings.
He also lashed out at the State Govt for its recent price hike of rations and acuteness  in the ration distribution system in the state which reflects total failure of the Govt. to perform basic duties towards the people.
Mr Khunitia in his address launched a scathing attack on the anti-labour anti- poor policies of the Modi Govt as a result they are facing great hardship for their survival and to meet basic requirements of their families.
He said that the Modi Govt’s slogan of “Ache Din” have turned out to be reverse and common people of this country are facing worst days.
Describing the working class as the backbone of the economy progress and development of the nation, Mr Khunitia said that the worst price hike during Modi regime has broken the backbone of poor and common man, while the demonetization has put them to great suffering for their daily needs.
Jugal Kishore and Aijaz Khan highlighted the problems faced by  labour and poor call due to the policies of State and Central Govt.
