JAMMU, Nov 14: National Secular Forum (NSF) today constituted its unit for Central University Jammu and announced Tahir Qureshi and Charanpreet Kour as president for men and women wings, respectively.
Deepak Seyal was nominated as chairman of the unit and Hazrat Ali as senior vice-president. Sajad Bali, Shakeel, Dheeraj, and Natish, were appointed as vice-presidents. Pawan Kumar was given the post of general secretary while Munish, Vivek, Rustam, Vishal, and Karan were appointed as secretaries.
Papu Ram was appointed as treasure, Touseef as publicity secretary, Riyaz as press secretary and Raghuveer Raina as office secretary while Abdul Qayoom, Ali, Karan, Vishnu, Arjun, Imran, Jatinder and Sahil were elected as executive members.
For the women team, Shagun Gupta was appointed as chairperson and Rubina as senior vice-president. Sunali Verma, Samiksha Raina, Tarunpreet, Priya Thakur, and Usma Niyaz were appointed as vice-president while Sheikh Imruza Manzoor was appointed as general secretary. Soniya, Arti, Priyanka Manhas, and Diksha Sajgotra, were appointed as secretaries. Komal Bhagat was appointed as treasurer, Neha as publicity secretary and Priyanka as office secretary while Rajni and Roohi Sakshi were elected as members.
The team was constituted during a meeting of NSF, held at CUJ, under the chairmanship of Dr Vikas Sharma.
