Sangarsh’s concern over hike in booking free of Town Hall

RAJOURI, Nov 2: The activists of Sangarsh- a civic movement presented memorandum to MoS VC Pahari Board regarding the undue booking fees of Town Hall Rajouri  fixed by Rajouri Municipal Council. The movement also showed its concern for the non implementation of the memorandum submitted to MC Rajouri six months ago for the welfare of Rajouri.
Demanding the intervention Gupta who is from Rajouri town Sangarsh said that this way the authorities are commercialising the community hall by making private sector type booking of the community hall which is built by the Government out of the taxes paid by the common man.
Sangarsh claimed that booking fee of Rs 30000 for the public property is a sort of mockery with common man and demanded to cut it not more than Rs 10000.
Memorandum also demanded that free booking for BPL section of the society with some security so that in real sense the emancipation of weaker section could be realized.
Gupta assured the deputation to ensure the realization of their demands and concern.
Deputation was led by Adv Shoket Ali, Hemakant Sharma, Kanav Badayal, adv Israr Mirza accompanied by Joginder Gupta, Sanjay Kumar, Anil Sharma, Balbir Singh, Latif Khan, Mushtaq Ahmed, Owais Khan, Ashwani Kumar , Vikram Sharma and Vishal Sharma.
