JAMMU, Oct 31: Grand Finale of the `Fashion Cult-2016’, organized by Kala Paarkhi-The Art People and held here today, was a big hit as the event evoked a tremendous response from the jam packed audience.
The event was a dual contest pertaining to modelling and group dancing competition, wherein Speaker J&K Assembly, Kavinder Gupta was the chief guest while MLA Rajesh Gupta was the guest of honour.
The winner of group dance contest was Street Rocker from Samba and the winner of modelling contest was Vasbi Chandan in female category and Akshay Chambyal among male contestants.
Arya Dharmchand Kumar, the Model/ actor and Smita Ganesh Hirlekar, Model/ actor/ singer/ Yoga expert, were the celebrity guest while Sohail Kazmi presided over the function. Sahil Aggarwal, Ashok Sharma, Vinod Sharma, Sanjay Gupta, Kusum Tikoo and J R Sharma were the special guests.
The grand finale of Fashion Cult- 2016, was held after conducting auditions in Jammu and its outskirts. Dresses of models and performing dancers, were specially got prepared from Perfect Outfit Boutique, a well known name for fashion lovers in Jammu.
It is pertinent to mention here that the utmost motive of Kala Parkhi- The Art People is to provide an ideal platform for the young and budding youth of the region to showcase their hidden talent in entertainment field.
