RAJOURI, Oct 5: The students and local public of Danni Dhar area held strong protest against the R&B authorities for the worst condition of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) road here today.
A large number of students of the University along with the locals came out on the road near Rajouri town and raised barricades. They stopped the movement of the vehicles on this road and started shouting slogans against the R&B authorities and local district administration. The movement of vehicles remained disrupted from 9am to 10 am.
Later, Additional DC Rajouri and SHO reached the spot. The ADC called R&B officials there. They gave assurance to the agitating students to repair the road within 40 days. Then they lifted dharna and allowed movement of traffic.
