KATHUA, Oct 5: The residents of border village of Kot Puno near Bamyal bordering the Punjab today held a strong protest demonstration against the failure of authorities of PDD to restore the local transformer in the village which has developed a snag over one month back and since then the people were facing total blackout.
The protest was led by Vinod Sharma a social activist of the area. The protestors warned to intensify agitation in case the transformer was not restored within days and also block the National Highway. They said that due to power failure their lives have become miserable in these hot and humid days.
