Jan Sangarsh demands recruitment of SPOs from all three regions

UDHAMPUR, Oct 3: “Jan Sangarsh”, a social organization today condemned the State Government’s proposed move to recruit 10,000 SPOs from Jammu province and demanded that the recruitment be carried out in equal proportion in all the three regions of the State.
Addressing a meeting of the organization held here today, its president, Sanjeet Bavouria, said recently J&K Government has took decision to recruit 10,000 SPOs in police department from Kashmir province thereby depriving the Dogra youth of Jammu province and Ladakh region from recruitment.
He said that this is total neglect of the youth of Jammu region, adding lakhs of youth of Jammu region are waiting for employment in Government sector and several of them are compelled to leave their home region for livelihood.
Bavouria said that he will fight tooth and nail against government’s discrimination with youth of Jammu region.
