JAMMU, Oct 1: Jodhamal Public School (JPS) has been ranked as the Best Co-educational School in J&K, consecutively for the year 2014-15 and 2015-16 by the prestigious Magazine, Education World.
The School has been ranked number one in the State as well as in the Jammu City leading all the top notched schools in J&K.
Every year Education World in collaboration with C-Fore conducts a nationwide survey in May-June and more than 10,000 top schools all over India are surveyed.
Jodhamal’s success can be attributed to improved performance across the 14 parameters like Academic Reputation, Competence of Faculty, Co-Curriculum Activities, Infrastructure, Discipline, Community Service, Sports Education, Leadership, Management quality, Life Skills, teacher-student ratio, etc.
Over the past four months, C-Fore personnel interviewed 10,301 parents, principals, teachers and senior school students in 28 cities countrywide, and persuaded them to rate schools in their region on a ten point scale across 14 parameters of education excellence.
The results of these interviews and survey are published as The Annual Education World, Indian School Ranking 2016.
The First Ranking Schools of respective States were felicitated recently in New Delhi, wherein Bhim Rathke, Nandan Kuthiala, Arati Kuthiala, Management Board Members and Trilok Singh Bist, Principal, Jodhamal Public School, received this prestigious award on behalf of the school.
On behalf of the organizers, Dilip Thakore, Editor of Education World Magazine, congratulated all the winners and highlighted the changing preference from pure academic-based education to holistic education.
