JAMMU, Aug 31: Many old ACs, voltage stabilizers, copper wires and many other things were reportedly stolen from store room of Mechanical Wing of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu.
According to the police and hospital sources stolen things include 6 worn out Window ACs, 2 worn out Split ACs, two 5 Kg AC voltage stabilizers, 2 bundles of copper wire, etc.
They said that the theft came to fore in the morning of August 30, when the officials of Mechanical wing found the lock of the store room broken.
According to XEn Mechanical Wing, GMCH Jammu, Ashok Singh, they have submitted a written complaint regarding the theft to the police and also informed the GMCH administration.
When contacted, Incharge, police post GMCH Jammu, SI Showket Amin Khan said that they are probing the matter.
