JAMMU, Aug 7: Directing party cadre to increase public contact programmes across the province, especially in the rural belts, Youth National Conference Provincial President Ajaz Jan today termed silence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi over Kashmir unrest as unfortunate.
Addressing the meeting of party, Ajaz Jan said that situation in Valley is not improving even after about one month which is the most worried part. “Kashmir unrest is directly or indirectly affecting the whole State and everyone is praying for peace in the Valley”, Jan said.
While questioning the Confidence Building Measures decided between Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and Prime Minister Narendra Modi before formation of Coalition Government in J&K, Ajaz Jan said that what type of CBMs are these in which PM is not even saying a single word over the deteriorated situation in Valley.
“Except chairing a couple of meetings and sending Home Minister to Valley for a day, Prime Minister has so far not shown any concern over Valley which is one of the most unfortunate part at this time”, Jan said.
