MENDHAR, July 20: Kasyot village in Gursai area of Mendhar is facing water scarcity for the last over three weeks.
The village Sarpanch alleged that water tank raised by the PHE Department is leaking and several PHE pipes are broken. Due to this, the water supply to Kasyot village and about half a dozen adjoining hamlets has been affected. He said the matter was also brought to the notice of concerned field staff but water supply has not been restored. The villagers have resolved to throng PHE office at Mendhar and stage dharna there if the water supply was not restored within three days.
