MENDHAR, June 23: The police arrested a boy from an exam centre when he was appearing in Urdu paper of Class 10 th (Pvt) in place of his friend in Chhatral area of Mendhar in district Poonch today.
Police sources said that Principal of Govt Higher Secondary School, Chhatral Mohd Aslam Khan received information that one Fazal Ilahi, son of Ashiq Hussain, resident of Tappa was appearing in the Urdu paper today in place of the original candidate Mohd Khushal, son of Mohd Fazal, resident of Tappa. This boy was appearing for the fifth time in Matriculation examination.
Then he went to the Exam Centre No.4514-15 and also inquired about it from the Exam Centre Superintendent Mohd Zaid, who expressed ignorance. Then he called SHO Mendhar and police party arrested the impersonator Fazal Ilahi and also the actual boy Mohd Khushal. A case FIR No. 88/ 2016 was registered in this connection.
