DODA, June 17: A seminar on “Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking” was organized by the Department of Zoology, Government Degree College (GDC), Bhaderwah today. The seminar was held under the aegis of the College Principal Prof ZA Hashmi.
The seminar was organized keeping in view the relevance of the subject and the problem that resonates and reinforces in every part of the present day world.
The main purpose was to spread the awareness among the students about the ill effects of the drug abuse and their illicit trafficking.
The seminar was presided over by Prof Basharat Iqbal, HOD English, while Prof Surinder Singh Parihar, HoD Economics graced the occasion as guest of honour and Dr Manish Kumar from Department of Zoology and Co-organizing Secretary presented vote of thanks.
