Srinagar, June 15: Government today said the Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for construction of four-lane Jammu-Poonch Highway have been processed.
Minister Incharge Public Works (R&B) Department in a written reply to a question of MLC Yash Pal Sharma said Jammu-Akhnoor-Poonch (New National Highway – 144A) has been approved under Prime Minister’s Developmental Package with proposed allocation of Rs. 5100.00 crores.
“National Highway Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) has floated bids for DPR consultant for four lanning of the National Highway from Jammu to Akhnoor. Project SAMPARK has also processed the case for preparation of DPR from Akhnoor to Poonch,” the Minister said.
