REASI, June 14: A deputation of village Bhaga Sirla today called on DDC Reasi and took up the issue of scarcity of drinking water in the village.
The deputation said that from last few months, they were facing the shortage of water in the village. They appraised the concerned officials several times in this regard but nothing was done so far, they lamented.
The villagers explained that some people from other village cut the main water supply pipe and diverted the supply to their village for irrigating fields and other purposes. They also highlights various other development issues with DDC who heard them patiently and assured appropriate action after getting about ground reality from concerned officials.
