Clerical cadre to observe strike

Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, June 10: Clerical cadre employees  have decided to suspend work for two days on June 13 and 14  in support of their long pending demand of removing pay anomalies.
The clerical staff, under the banner of Jammu Kashmir Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association led by Ravi Singh Bhau today resolved to   suspend work for two days. They alleged that Government despite assurance and written agreement has failed to honour its commitment. They observed that announcing yet another committee for this purpose,  is yet another attempt of the Government to befool the employees.
Mr Bhau alleged that the  Government even failed to  honour the directions of the J&K High Court. He appealed the clerical staff to get united and observe mass casual leave on June 13-14. Sukhbir Singh, Ravi Kumar, Nazir Ahmed Bhat, Vipin Kumar and Umar Jan were also present in the meeting.
