MENDHAR, June 8: The local administration today conducted a surprise market checking and imposed fine on the erring shopkeepers.
The team, comprising Tehsildar Mendhar Salam Din, Tehsil Supply Officer Mohd Zaman and Medical Officer Dr Javed Akhter, seized 10 kg polythene carry bags and destroyed 20 kg rotten vegetables.
The team also realized a fine of Rs 4800 from the erring shopkeepers.
