JAMMU, June 5: A book titled ‘Aur 3 Natak’ consisting three plays, Apna Apna Sach, Rain Basera and Ibbi Ek Rasta, written by ND Jamwal, was released here today.
Sham Choudhary, Minister for PHE, Flood Control and Irrigation was chief guest on the occasion while Sat Sharma CA, State BJP president and MLA Jammu West, presided over the book release function, which was organized by Samooh Theatre.
Speaking on the occasion, Sham Choudhary appreciated the contribution of N D Jamwal in serving Dogri language for last more than 50 years.
Sat Sharma said that young generation must take an inspiration from N D Jamwal who is still contributing at the age of 90 years.
Earlier, Mohan Singh presented a detailed paper on three plays compiled in the book. Dr Sudhir Mahajan and Suraj Kumar gave a spellbound performance of traditional and folk songs with the experiments of Western music instruments which was applauded by the guests and the audience.
Ravinder Sharma, Director Samooh, Sunidi Sharma, Seema Dogra and Dr Sudhir Mahajan dramatized a piece of dialogues from the play Apna Apna Sach, consisting in book ‘Aur 3 Natak’.
Earlier, Dr Sudhir delivered a welcome address while vote of thanks was presented by Dr Kamal Sharma.
