UDHAMPUR, May 30: Police today foiled an attempt of bovine smuggling and rescued 13 animals that were smuggled to Kashmir in a truck.
The truck, bearing registration number JK02AT-0225, was intercepted by Police at Tikri. During the thorough search, the vehicle was found loaded with 13 bovine animals. Even as Police rescued the animals and seized the vehicle, its driver managed to escape.
Tikri Police has registered a case in this regard.
