JAMMU, May 24: Consolidated/ daily wage drivers of J&K SRTC have demanded their regularisation.
A meeting of All J&K SRTC consolidate/daily rated drivers was held under the chairmanship of S. Derdar Singh, president of the Union wherein, the committee members discussed their grievances.
Mr Singh while addressing the meeting said that the consolidate/rated drivers are utmost suffers at the hands of successive Governments over the years and recalled that as per SRO issued by the Government all consolidate/daily rated workers are entitled to be confirmed.
He urged the concerned minister to concede their genuine demand by confirming their services who have invested their prime of youth in JKSRTC. The meeting discussed that if their demands are not met at the earliest, then they shall be bound to take the agitational path.
