SRINAGAR, May 10:- Funkar Cultural Organisation (FCO) today released Satisar to Kashmir, a historical account of Ancient Kashmiri history written by late Pushkar Nath Nehru at an impressive function here today.
The function was attended by galaxy of intellectuals, writers and artists besides prominent persons.
While speaking on the occasion the speakers highlighted the relevance and the historicity of the ancient Kashmiri culture. They also appreciated the work done by the late author in bringing to fore the hidden facets of ancient Kashmir history ,culture and called for taking up of such type of endeavors so that more facets of our rich culture and heritage are documented and the younger generation gets benefited from these.
Prominent historian Fida Mohammad Hasnain, Prof Neerja Matto, R Hasrat Gadda, Ghulam Nabi Khayal, Farooq Nazki, Prof. Zaman Azurdah, Abdul Ahad Farhad and others were present on the occasion.
