SRINAGAR, Apr 17: Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Law and Justice, Sunday said Government will provide every possible assistance to the persons injured in Kupwara and if need arises the injured persons will be taken outside the State for specialized treatment at the Government’s expense.
Abdul Haq visited SMHS hospital and Bone and Joint hospital Barzulla on Sunday and enquired about the health condition of the injured.
He interacted with Ishfaq Majeed, Fazil Ahmad Lone, Shabir Ahmad Lone, Showkat Ahmad Ganaie, Yawar Rasheed, Javed Ahmad and Danish who are undergoing treatment.
Minister also provided immediate financial assistance to the injured and assured them of all possible help.
Medical Superintendent SMHS, Nazir Ahmad Choudhary, informed the Minister that the injured victims are being provided best of the treatment.
Meanwhile, Minister of State for Health and Medical Education, Asiya Naqash, Sunday visited SMHS hospital here and met the persons injured in Kupwara.
She enquired about the health condition of Yawar Ahmad, Danish Ahmad and Showkat Ahmad Ganai, who had sustained injures in Kupwara and are under treatment at the hospital.
The Minister assured the injured and their attendants of all possible help from the State Government and instructed the hospital authorities to provide the best medical care to the injured.
Medical Superintendent SMHS, Nazir Ahmad Choudhary, informed the Minister that the injured persons are being provided the best treatment available.
