Plea to JMC authorities

Sir,
It is a known fact that JMC has failed in Jammu on many fronts since its formation. But to cover misgivings and inefficiency, it had launched its website for the online complaints by the public. It seems that it is meant only for the registration of complaints but nothing is done for the redressal on the field. Example is that I had registered my complaint regarding the encroachment of footpaths by rehri wallas outside Railway Station Jammu on both sides of the road near Forest toll post, but nothing was done except the SMS information by JMC website. It is an open fact that many footpaths and even roads in Gole market, Gandhi Nagar and Last Morh, Gandhi Nagar have been encroached either by rehris or shopkeepers and it should not require any complaint but should be a normal routine to get these encroachments vacated. Instead when a complaint is lodged with JMC, it rebounds and more and more encroachments are seen on these platforms. As such there are many other areas where JMC has turned its blind eye, such as illegal commercial activities, noise pollution, stray dogs’ menace and the list goes on.
It is requested to the chairman JMC to intervene in such matters so that the purpose of launching website is met and implementation is done on the field for the redressal of the complaints and the complainant  and the complaint should be intimated through SMS after the implementation, till then complaint is kept live in the website and if not redressed, the concerned officer should be penalized.
Yours etc….
