Srinagar, Mar 14: Dozens of Saksha Bharat Mission (SBM) candidates seeking their service order today staged a protest in South Kashmir’s Shopian district.
The agitating teaching candidates assembled at many places in Shopian Town and then staged protests. Bilal Ahmad, one of the candidates, said the Government is making inordinate delay in issuing their service order.
“There are 212 SBM candidates in Shopian district and the Government is employing dilly dallying tactics in issuing our service orders even as a Court also granted its decision in our favour,” he said.
The protesting SBM candidates appealed higher-ups including Deputy Commissioner Shopian to clear their issue and issue the service orders in their favour. The protest ended on a peaceful note and there was no disturbance.
