RAJOURI, Sept 12: MLA Nowshera and NC leader Radhey Sham Sharma took up the issues of local public with the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah in Srinagar today.
In a press statement here today a Party spokesman said that the MLA during meeting with Chief Minister apprised him of the problems being faced by the people of Nowshera. A nine-point memorandum was also submitted to the CM, seeking proper development of the area by MLA.
The MLA demanded special package for Nowshera, one time settlement of border migrants of Nowshera, early declaration of list of teachers for district Rajouri, relaxation of age of candidates who applied for jobs in 2006 and gone over aged due to inordinate delay at the part of Government agency, sanctioning of two clusters of model villages in the area, on spot recruitment in Police Department, establishment of PDD Division at Nowshera & Sheep Development and Research Farm etc. He also urged CM to issue direction to the District Administration for expediting work on various development projects. Mr Abdullah gave patient hearing and assured the MLA to address the genuine and justified issues of the people.
